Yukiko Miyawaki
Yukiko Miyawaki began her career as a Gymnast and Baton Twirler. She studied Jazz at Metro Movement (Canada) and Ballet at The National Ballet of Canada and is a graduate of Konan Women’s University in Japan. She is currently studying at Peridance. She has appeared in music video for George McCrae (U.S.A.) and Dragon Ash (Japan), and produces, choreographs and dances for her own company in Japan called “ Angels” (Rave 101 Theater) which she founded in 1999. She has performed for the following modern choreographers: Youya Shinjyo, Etsuko Kawasaki, Blue Muse with Mayuna Shimizu, Tsuyoshi Kaseda, Felicia A. Swoope, Jill Rucci, Courtney Ffrench and Nina Buisson. She can currently be seen performing with a Cabaret singer Ami Goodheart (Joe’s Pub/Dunhill, Euphoria, Jean Paul Gaultier private party) and recording artist, YOSHIDA as a dancer and co-choreographer (Lincoln Center Out-Of-Doors, The Baggot Inn, The Web [NYC], The Warehouse and Adrenaline [Philadelphia]).
