Ayumi Miki

 Ayumi Miki started ballet training when she was ten years old under the direction of Ms. Yuzue Suzuki. In 1997, she enrolled at Nihon Taiiku, a Women’s two-year college, where she studied dance. She came to New York in 2000 and is currently studying at Peridance. She has worked with Nina Buisson and Mayuna Shimizu/Blue Muse Dance in 2002. Due to her beautiful performance on the stage, Shimizu invited her again for a new work: “Silkworm” at Queens Museum of Art, as part of the Queens International world music, dance, and film program 2003.
