Hazuki Homma: Associate Director & Dance Artist
Hazuki Homma is dancer/ performer originally from Japan, where she studied classical and modern dance. Since moving to NYC, she completed the international student training programs at Dance New Amsterdam (formerly Dance Space Center) and HB Studio as well as the teacher training at OM Yoga Center. She has collaborated with artists such as Daria Fain, Yoshiko Chuma, Erin Malley, Meredith Monk, Mariah Maloney. Also She performed for LaMicro Theater at The NY International Fringe Festival 2012.
Matthew Roberts grew up in Akron, OH where he began his training under the direction of Everett N. Deck, Jr. His formal training started while attending the Univeristy of Akron's Dance Institute, studying under Lana Caroll-Heylock, Andrew Carroll, Christina Foise, MaryAnn Black and Amy Miller. After graduating high school, Matthew attended Marymount Manhattan College. While at Marymount, he choreographed five pieces and had the honor of performing pieces by Lar Lubovich, Robert Battle, Jessica Lang, Pedro Ruiz, Jessica Lang, Shen Wei and Cherice Barton. Matthew graduated with a B.F.A. in dance with a concentration in Choreography.
Robin Johnson is a recent graduate of the New Studio on Broadway at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has professionally danced everywhere from a store front window at the Romanian Cultural Institute of NY to the Gothic synagogue that is the Angel Orensanz Center, and is thrilled to be adding “Pulaski Bridge” to the eccentric list. Her most favorite credits include the Shakespeare's Helena in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Portia in “Julius Caesar” at NYU, and playing the roles of friend, daughter, and cousin in her personal life.
Femi Olagoke is a man of movement. Known by many as a movement artist, athlete, dancer and all round fitness specialist, he has been involved in sports and athletics from a very young age. He eventually discovered his love for theatre and dance when he moved to the United States and began training in contemporary and modern dance. He is also well versed in African dance, freestyle, improvisation, partnering with some ballroom & ballet. He is greatful to be living his dream and honored to be part of a tremendous production.
Malin Barr, trained as a dancer in various styles as ballet, jazz, contemporary, house, hip hop etc. since early years in Stockholm, Sweden, where she is originally from.
She continued training at Steps on Broadway in NYC and Edge Performing arts center in LA.
In 2010, She moved to London, UK, accepted to Laine Theatre Arts in Musical Theatre and Dance, towards a National Diploma.
She just recently graduated from a 2 year Conservatory in Musical Theatre and Acting at NYFA, which was the reason she moved to NYC to study while on scholarship.
Malin has done various dance performances as well as shorts films, commercial, music videos and modeling.
She is thrilled to work with Mayuna Shimizu and to be part of the Blue Muse Dance 's Project.
